The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. by President Brian Weist.
Present: President Brian Weist, Secretary Pat Ryan, Treasurer Anita Hagen, Gordy Behm, Jeff Gertgen, Mark Streed, Ben Anderson, Dean Volk, Darvin Hauptli, Brian Knoke via Zoom. Absent were Tim Groshens, Judy Christensen and Tom Hayden.
Motion Gordy/Mark to approve the August 9, 2025 minutes as read.
As of September 30, Checking balance $4775.62 and Money Market balance $94,801.18; MFCR Watershed balance $100,954.67. Motion by Ben, Darvin, and approved to accept the September financial reports as read. Anita presented a bill for expenses of $696.31. Motion Pat/Jeff to approve.
Anita reported on Weedfest. Revenue $4,167.00, expenditures $2581.61, net $1,585.39, a slight increase of 2024 net profit of $1.529.39. A special thank you to Tom Hayden and the Handle Bar, Tim Groshens, Brandon Kragenbring, the DLARA board members who worked and all the attendees for all their help in making WeedFest a success.
Discussion centered on No Wake restrictions. Motion Jeff/Anita, approved to suggest to the County Board a restriction of 6 inches below the high water mark and 600 feet from shore line.
Motion Anita/Gordy to install a light to the East landing with DLARA paying the monthly electrical fee.
Pat reported on viewing the Tri Lakes nano bubbler site in Wisc The project shows signs of improvement but very costly and they have a number of nano bubblers in use.

Weed treatment for 2026 is estimated to be $45,535 for 88 acres with DNR approval. Motion
Darvin/Jeff to submit proposal for $49,000 not to exceed 95 acres.
Information was received for monitoring process to pay for surveying carp population.
Motion Darvin/Jeff/approved to use reserve funds to do surveys as needed, not to exceed $10,000.
Weed harvesting will be discussed at the April meeting.
